SALLY is a ground-breaking documentary about Dr. Sally Ride—the first American woman in space—that explores her hidden identity, public achievements, and lasting legacy. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Cristina Costantini, who also directed the Emmy-winning film Science Fair,  the film features rare archival footage and intimate narration from Sally’s life partner, Tam O’Shaughnessy.
The documentary weaves together Sally’s NASA missions, her advocacy for STEM education, and her 27-year relationship with Tam—a love story hidden from the public until after Sally’s death. Through interviews with family, friends, and fellow astronauts, SALLY honours both her public persona and private truth.
