A taste of Cuban Salsa!

Cuban Salsa Rueda de Casino, is danced communally and in a circle following the callers lead and by changing partners. It encompasses some classic Cuban partner salsa moves and lots of fun. 

We will start with a line dance warm up to introduce the Cuban salsa beat then form into leaders and followers for a Rueda format circle. We will aim to learn enough moves to enjoy a Rueda where each dancer will know how to progress around the circle.

Aimed as a beginner’s introduction, but welcome to any salsa dancers to come and support newbies to get a taste.

Please bring: Water to drink, comfortable footwear that straps on, no flip flops, sandals or sliders

We met on the line dance floor back in the late 90’s at Manchester Prairie Dogs (UK). We developed our love of dancing into salsa, kizomba and bachata and are now both long term salsa and line-dancers.

We have been coming to Eressos every year since our first visit back twenty years ago.
