The Dog Splash
The dog splash is a fundraising event to support the animals of Eressos. The Rock Group will swim from Avatara, on both Tuesdays of the festival, gathering at 10.30am for a 11.00 swim, with kayak support.
This is a sponsored swim and the only time the Rock Group asks Rockers to pay for a registration fee of €5.00 (minimum) which goes towards the animal welfare fund, which provides emergency medical help, supports the existing animal charities for both dogs and cats and provides cat food for the winter and spring feeding programs.
It’s also an opportunity to dress up, get sponsored and get to the rock (and back) in anyway possible which raises money for the animals welfare fund.
It will be a fun morning, with lots of opportunities for cuddling the Gaga puppies; also a chance to meet some of the amazing people who work with the animals; DJ floor will be on the decks playing Mowtown and Tamla. It will generally be a ROCKTASTIC time.
