Start your day with a breathtaking experience: hiking in the dark, watching the lights of Skala Eressos twinkle below, listening to the birds welcome the dawn, and finally witnessing the stunning sunrise from the chapel on Sappho Rock.

What to Bring & Wear:

• Footwear: Trekking shoes or sturdy sneakers are essential (no flip-flops).
• Clothing: Wear warm clothes or bring layers.
• Water: A minimum of 1 liter of water is required.
• Breakfast: Feel free to bring food, coffee, or tea to share for a communal breakfast at the chapel.
• Light: A flashlight or mobile phone with a flashlight function is highly recommended.

Hike Details:

• This is a mountain hike with rocky paths, requiring a medium fitness level.
• The walk up to the top takes approximately 90 minutes.
• The walk down and back to the starting point takes around 75 minutes.

Meeting & Timing:

• Meeting Point: In front of Sappho Travel.
• Meeting Time: 5:00 AM
• Start Time: 5:15 AM
• Expected Return: Between 8:45 AM and 9:30 AM at Sappho Travel.
