As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are genuinely thrilled to welcome Majelen, a truly extraordinary and gifted artist. She’s our very first Australian performer and we can’t wait to see her on our fabulous open-air cinema stage. 

Majelen’s music is an experience woven together by intricate looping, and an unmistakable acoustic energy. Her sound captures the essence of adventure: sunrises atop remote mountaintops, sunsets along vast coastlines, and the raw beauty of the Australian outback. It’s music for wanderers and dreamers. 

Her talent has not gone unnoticed. She was nominated for Musician of the Year and Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2024 Gold Coast Music Awards, and several of her singles have charted in the iTunes Top 100 across Australia, the UK, Europe, Canada, and the US.

Majelen’s musical adventures have taken her across continents, touring extensively throughout the UK, Europe, and the USA. Along the way, she has supported renowned artists like Xavier Rudd and Kim Churchill, graced major festivals, and performed at prestigious events such as the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony in 2018. Her collaborations with iconic Australian musicians—including Katie Noonan, Kristin Berardi, John Morrison, and Emma Dean—reflect her deep connection to her craft and the broader music community.

This year, she continues her global journey with performances at the 2025 Australian Acoustic Guitar Spectacular, followed by an international tour across the UK and Europe including our Sappho Women’s Festival before returning home for an Australian East Coast tour.
