DJ Floor was just fourteen when she first witnessed “The Godfather of Soul and Funk,” James Brown, live in the Netherlands. That dynamic performance, infused with funky rhythms and raw emotion, changed her life forever!

She knew immediately she wanted to spread the sound of funky soul music to as many people as possible. Within a month, she was playing to a crowd of 1500 at her school ball.

After over five decades in the music industry—digging for vinyl, collecting the funkiest rare grooves, and DJing all around the world—Floor is still as dedicated as ever.

Vicky, a true business veteran in Skala Eressos, Greece, is the owner and operator of Avatara Cafe Bar. With an impressive track record of successful ventures, spanning 20+yrs, Vicky has previously owned and managed a series of popular establishments here in town, each leaving a mark in the local scene. Some of her past businesses include the bars Fuego, Roots, Agua, as well as her restaurant Vento.
