Katerina & Sappho Travel ...
Painter and Artist Katerina Litsardopoulou was born on the Island of Corfu in Greece in 1968.
She started her studies at the Fine Arts University of Thessaloniki - Department of Conjectural and applied Arts. Between the years 1990- 1996 she successfully studied laboratorial lessons of painting specialization.
Her particular specializations are; engraving, photography, sculpture and she succesfully finished 23 semesters of theoretical training in History of Arts, Art Philosophy, Rythmology of Architecture and Psychology of Education.
Katerina's work has been exhibited in several countries
From 1998 to 2004 Katerina lived and worked in Eressos on Lesvos, and from 2001 to 2003 she was owner of Galery Mandala where she showed her work along with other artists.
From 2005 she is teacher of secondary education in a high school in Igoumenitsa.
In 2005, Katerina was asked to design the Eressos Women's Festival 2005 logo. She used the infamous landmark (the face in the rock) at the end of the 3km beach as her guide and the result is truly amazing as you can see below on the left.
Katerina has just recently updated the logo with this year's dates, and ... she's created a fresh new look for us as well.
