Past Festivals - Festival 2009 (05/09 - 19/09/2009)

Marieke de Boef aka DJ PROMISS is one of Hollands' best female DJ's, and during the last two festivals she became our favorite in Skala Eressos as well! Her music style can best be described as an energetic mix of groove, latinhouse, club and funkytechno.

She started her career in 1996 in the city of Rotterdam as resident DJ at "de Danssalon" en "Barocca" (de Boot). She has built her reputation as DJ both inside and outside of Holland, playing in big clubs in Israel, Spain, Greece and Germany.

DJ Promiss succesfully organises her own monthly GirlPlanet women only parties (www.girlplanet.info) in the cities Arnhem and Rotterdam. Marieke has also been spotted at dance-events such as Impuls Outdoor, Extrema, Lovefields and she always makes sure that she has her own solotruck during the FFWDdanceparade! As a producer DJ Promiss has released work from her own studio as well.

DJ Promiss will be in Skala Eressos once more during our festival and she will keep us dancing until the early morning hours at our annual Women Only party at NAOS Nightclub on the 8th of September!
