To Be Free Creative Writing Workshop
This workshop is designed to help writers of all levels negotiate taboos that arise in the crafting of essays, articles, memoirs, novels, short stories, poetry, plays and biographies.
Students will be encouraged to examine restraints on voice and subject matter. Workshop materials will include readings by and discussions about writers who've challenged "appropriate" literary conventions.
In-class writing assignments will explore the artistic vision of all participants.
