Art workshop with live model / portrait.
Writer and painter Gerbien Fricke, born in Amsterdam, studied art in Holland and Germany. She travelled through the world of art, literature, music and theatre.
In 1999 she decided it was time to live life to the full and moved to Eressos.
For years, fully absorbed and grounded by nature and the increasing number of cats, dogs, horses and people that visited or came to stay in Villa Gaga, she didn't touch pen, paper or paint.
Two years ago the cycle was complete and art came back, more genuine and profound than ever before.
This workshop is all about the fantastic creative potential in everyone of us, just waiting to break loose. It doesn't matter if you have never drawn live model before - the human body offers a fascinating scala of possibilities for discovering your own creativity.
We will not focus on making exquisite artwork (although you are of course free to do so...) but concentrate on exploring your own unique handwriting in an encouriging and safe women only space.
If you want to play with line patterns and colours, you are very welcome to this workshop, which will be given by Gerbien Fricke.
This is a two session workshop, each workshop lasts two hours. In the first session you will become familiar with the material in your own free style. In the second session you will explore the endless possibilities of colour. You are welcome to come to one session (the first one) or to both sessions.
