Talk and slide show: Women Warriors and Athletes in Ancient Greece
Amazons, portrayed through the ancient legends and works of art, have never ceased to stir the imagination. Yet how many people are aware that women warriors actually existed in ancient Greece?
Some of them engaged in real battles, while others exercised regularly so as to be ready for war. Besides, female sports were common in many parts of the Greek and Roman world.
One of the most important examples is the forgotten women's Olympics, honoring the goddess Hera in Olympia.
Workshop: Discovering the Wisdom of Dreams
Dreaming was often used in ancient Greek sanctuaries as a method of healing and of divining the future. Modern psychology emphasizes the value of dreams as a way of gaining deeper self-awareness and of obtaining significant information concerning one's life.
In this workshop we are going to learn how dreams are connected to ancient myths and symbols. Techniques for remembering one's dreams will be taught, as well as methods of interpretation which can help us improve our lives and relationships.

It is possible to pre-book your place in the workshop by sending an e-mail to us. The e-mail will also be sent to Harita so your interest will be noted !
